Support For Wisconsin Protesters

Here in Hollywood, Florida, the supporters of the Wisconsin protest were out on both sides of Federal Highway. There was an awful lot of car horn honking and V or victory signs from passing cars.

Grassy Waters Preserve II

This is the second en plein air painting I did at Grassy Waters. The distraction de jour was an alligator who insisted on hanging out on my side of of the water. It was on the bank about 60 yards from me just chillin'. The painting is an oil on 8 by 10 inch cotton canvas board.

Paul is 70 today so we all went to the beach and flew a kite to celebrate. He took the opportunity to teach his grand-nephew how to do it.

Grassy Waters Preserve I

The first of two en plein air oil paintings I did at the Grassy Waters Preserve in West Palm Beach, Florida. It's on an 8 by 10 inch canvas board. This is a great little preserve; there is a resident pair of endangered Everglades Snail Kites living here.

Thank you

to all of you who have left so many kind comments on my posts this past year. I don't generally respond to them because I don't know if anyone revisits their comments to see the response; however, I do appreciate the feedback. I thought Valentines Day would be a good time to tell all of you.

A bouquet for all of you.
