My new pastel on 12 by 18 inches Wallis sanded paper using Pan Pastels with a bit of Unison, Henri Roche and Derwent Pastel pencils. This was drawn from a photograph I took from a window of the narrow gauge train that runs from Porthmadog on the coast to the slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
I finished this portrait of my Grandniece on July 3rd. It's pastels on sanded 9 by 12 inch Colorfix paper. This was drawn from a photo taken when Julia was about 16 months old.
This photo of the new World Trade Center was taken from the Pulaski Bridge in Queens. I took the photo on June 23, 2012. It already dominates the New York skyline.

Sidney is a Jack Russell who lives in Pennsylvania. Her humans are cousins of mine. I don't believe it's necessary to mention who runs the house. These are recent pictures of her in her garden.
Sidney would like to remind everyone that they should always stop and smell the flowers. .Tweet
