Adriatic and Aegean Journal

Some last views of Venice.

The next block over from where we stayed.

The near-by piazza at with shops and out-door cafes.

Traffic jam a la Venice.

A restaurant in the old Venetian Ghetto. The word ghetto was the Venetian word for foundry and this area, where the Jews of the 16th century were allowed to live, had been where cannon foundries were located.

View of the Grand Canal. You may notice on the skyline, just a bit right of center, the top decks of a cruise ship in port.
