The Site Dilemma

There is a hugh bunch of lovely people in cyberland and I'm lucky enough to have some of them leave me very nice comments about what I have posted here. Some just comment and some ask questions and some raise points I would like to expand upon. The problem is how do I know if they will see the answers or the follow-ups that I post in comments?

There are no "contact me' buttons nor do I feel comfortable just going to someone's site and throwing in a random answer/comment.

I would be very glad to hear anyone's comments as to what they do in these circumstances.

And a big thank you to everyone who reads my blog.

Once in a while I do a blog answering any questions and responding to comments.

Martha, when I comment on a blog, I generally check the :

"Email follow-up comments to" block, so I get any other responses to the posts emailed to me. This way I can keep up if there is a conversation.

I do the same thing that Jean does - then I know if anyone has posted something I want to reply to.

I like Sunshine's answer, too, and I have heard of other bloggers doing that as well.

Hi Martha,
Don't all the comments go to your e-mail and you can respond that way?

No, I never checked the comments to e-mail thing - reason - didn't realize what it did. Will do it in the future however. Thanks for the advice.
