#1 in the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge

Irish Countryside

The hardest part of doing this watercolor was just sitting down to do it. I had stage fright. I ended up with a 7 by 10 inch painting from a photo I took when I was in Ireland in 2004. It is painted on Arches cold pressed paper.

Irish Countryside - $40.00 Available through my Etsy shop.

The Tart With the Cart

This is the name given by the Dubliners to a statue of the famous Molly Malone of song who "wheel'd her wheel barrow through streets broad and narrow crying cockles and mussels alive, alive o!" It stands near the University in Dublin, Ireland.

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
