My Mom and Grandma always told me that this ornament was on my Mom's first tree when she was a baby. Looking back, and knowing how tight money was at the time, I have often wondered if this hadn't been on either Grandma or Grandpa's tree before then. I wish I had asked but I was so enthralled at having an ornament "as old as Mom", that it didn't occur to me to ask more about it when I could have. It's at least 96 years old.

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
