The Twined Rug is Finished

The hardest part was cutting the strips of cloth. I went out and bought one of those cutting wheels that make a pinked edge so that the next one will go faster. The finished rug is approximately 26 by 36 inches. I was thinking of putting the rug up for sale but decided against it. After all, it is my first and I'm rather attached to it.

Bead Mystery Finished

If you saw my beaded bits back on my January 19th post and wondered what was going to come of them, here it is: a striped star.

Twined Rug - In Progress

It's almost 2/3s of the way done. Had to take a pause while looking for the right color material to use for the middle. Found it, bought it, cut it into strips. Ready to go.
