Hurricane Irene leftovers
I took most of these photos around our house on Sunday afternoon. We were still getting wind gusts up to 40 mph so didn't venture out in the car. The last picture I took today over in Point Lookout which is right on the ocean. It's about 8 miles from us as the crow flies..

Beaded Bangle Bracelet
I just finished this beaded bracelet. It's a variation on a bracelet designed by Cynthia Rutledge and featured in the April 2011 issue of Bead and Button magazine. She used faceted rondelles and I used round beads. I also changed a few sizes for the other beads. My base was the same as hers but I had to finagle just about everything after that.

New Zealand, South Island - SOLD
I just finished this pastel today. I used Pan Pastels with just a touch of Derwent pastel pencil on 9 x 12 inch Colourfix sanded paper. It was drawn from a photo I took when I was in New Zealand in 2001.
